Lokta paper, also known as Nepali kaagaz is a traditional paper that is made from fibers of Lokta trees. The practice of writing sacred Hindu and Buddhist religious texts in Lokta paper has survived thousands of years. In addition, most official government documents in Nepal are still written in Lokta paper. They are insect repelling, light weight and are produced in multitude of patterns, textures and colors. We are committed to keeping this unique tradition alive by creating modern products for everyone to use.
